We are so proud of our Varsity Treble, Tenor-Bass, and JV Treble Cobra Choirs for earning ✨Sweepstakes✨ at UIL this week! All three competing choirs put on amazing performances both on stage and in the sight-reading room, each group earning a SUPERIOR rating from all six judges. The ratings that they received are a testament of their hard work and dedication to their craft and we hope it fuels our students to continue to strive for the best in all they do for years to come. Congratulations, Cobra Choir! You all earned it! 🤩

The Cathey Orchestra was the only middle school in the Region to earn three Sweepstakes trophies while receiving straight Division I ratings from every judge — the highest rating possible!

Even more impressive, our Varsity Orchestra performed all three concert pieces without a conductor, demonstrating exceptional musicianship, leadership, teamwork, and preparation.

This accomplishment reflects not only our students’ musical excellence, but also their discipline, dedication, and commitment to representing our campus with pride. 💙🐍
